Bulgaria

Dear Readers,

Bulgarian food is known to be diverse with its variety of foods they make. At most meals they serve very good salads. The Bulgarians use dairy products a lot and have very unique wines. Like Uzbekistan they like to serve many hot and cold soups. Pastries are well known in Bulgaria. The Bulgarians like to bake, steam, and grill, but it is unlikely that you see a deep fried dish on a menu in a restaurant there. Like I said before they grill a lot, but usually meat is what they grill and pork is what they grill the most. Beef is less common then fish and chicken also. Most cattle there are raised for milk not beef. Yogurt is big there and if you traveled there you could get some fine yogurt.

Pacha is an average appetizer soup in Bulgaria

Shopska salad is native to Bulgaria

Kebapche is a grilled meat stick with spices served as the main course

Kozunak is a very sweet bread served as desert
