Hungary

I am going to start doing country's from Europe in my blogs. The reason for that is because Europe has some of the finest cuisines in the world. Probably a lot of the country's I do do not have the best food but I have a felling a lot will have good foods, and the reason I picked Hungary this post is because it looked like hungry on the map. I am going to do this post a little different this time.

Hungarian traditional food is influenced form many countries such as France, Germany and Austria. Below this small paragraph I will have list of there foods.

Meat: Like many countries meat is popular there. They have goulash, tokany, and porkolt. Hungarians eat sausage a lot on a regular basis too. The meat there recipes there are many.

Fish: If you do not want meat in Hungary you can still get some good fish. It is usually served with veggies, different sauces, and mushrooms. There are some Hungarian fish soups that you could probably get at most Hungarian restaurants. Halászlé is a popular fresh water fish soup in Hungary.

Desert: Desert in Hungary is from all around Europe. They have a popular desert called Somloi Galuska which is a sponge called with all kinds of good stuff on it. Another sponge cake is Dobos Torta which is topped with caramel. Hungary also has many other great desserts and if you like pastries, I think Hungary is the place to be. Look at the pictures of the sponge cakes I guarantee you will drool.

Bulgaria

Dear Readers,

Bulgarian food is known to be diverse with its variety of foods they make. At most meals they serve very good salads. The Bulgarians use dairy products a lot and have very unique wines. Like Uzbekistan they like to serve many hot and cold soups. Pastries are well known in Bulgaria. The Bulgarians like to bake, steam, and grill, but it is unlikely that you see a deep fried dish on a menu in a restaurant there. Like I said before they grill a lot, but usually meat is what they grill and pork is what they grill the most. Beef is less common then fish and chicken also. Most cattle there are raised for milk not beef. Yogurt is big there and if you traveled there you could get some fine yogurt.

Pacha is an average appetizer soup in Bulgaria

Shopska salad is native to Bulgaria

Kebapche is a grilled meat stick with spices served as the main course

Kozunak is a very sweet bread served as desert

Turkey,

Dear Readers,
I'm sorry I have not made post lately that's because I have not had a computer with me for many days, but this week I am doing Turkey because it got the majority of votes. As I have read the Turkish people eat somewhat like us fro breakfast. They usually have Turkish bread with topping such as butter, tea most of the time but on some occasions they eat pastries that are special in Turkey, they put cheese and parsley in the pastry. For lunch they mostly eat the same things as dinner. Salads are always served before a big lunch or dinner in Turkey. Some Turkish people like to have the big meal of the day as lunch and some dinner. Fresh sea food will be served a lot in Turkey for lunch or dinner. Charcoal grilled meat called kebab should be served if you prefer meat over sea food.

Zimbabwe

This blog we are going to talk about Zimbabwe in Africa. They have quite a few traditional foods there. ONe of there main foods is called sadza and is a cornmeal based food, they mostly serve it with relish and slow cooked meats. It is cooked almost like porridge. They like to eat corn on the cob, peanuts, beans butternut squash, and also avacado. Meat and game is for special occasions such as holidays. At very expensive restraunts they will serve crocidile tail, warthog and also antelope. In the dry summer they serve dried worms and flying ants by the pound.
